For the trades
Framing runs on crew hours. Put every hour on the right job.
Framing crews move fast and move often. One week it's a deck, the next it's an addition, then a full house. Many framers work as subs, so the GC sets the schedule and you live with it.
Banay OS™ keeps your crew's hours, lumber receipts and materials on each job. So every frame you put up has its own numbers.
Where framing job numbers drift
Crews on more than one site
A framing crew can split between two jobs in a week. Hours written down later get mixed up between sites.
Lumber and hardware runs
Lumber, sheathing, hangers, nails and fasteners. Some framers buy their own; some get materials from the GC. Either way, the receipts you do pay need to land on the job.
Fixed-price sub work
When you're a sub on a fixed price, labor is where you win or lose. If you don't know your hours per job, you can't tell which GCs and job types pay.
How Banay OS helps framers
Crew clock in from their phone
Each framer clocks in from their phone. Hours show by week, tied to each job. You see your crew's week by job.
Receipts filed to the job
Snap a receipt and it's filed to the job. The extra box of hangers ends up on the right job.
A P&L for every job
Live, automated P&L for every job.* Hours, receipts and materials roll into each job's P&L. Check it while the walls go up.
Mileage
Mileage is off until the owner turns it on, and each driver sees and accepts a notice first. After that, Banay OS records drives only while you're clocked in and inside work hours your company sets. Nothing is recorded when you're clocked out or outside those hours. Location is recorded only while you're clocked in. The owner and the office or admin users you choose can see it; crew see only their own. Route points are deleted after 90 days by default (your company can choose 7 to 90 days); trip records stay for your mileage log.
Three languages
The crew app comes in English, Brazilian Portuguese and Mexican Spanish. Each person picks their own.
Lumber prices move. Your job numbers should keep up.
When material costs change between the bid and the build, the receipts tell the story. Every lumber receipt filed to the job shows what that frame really cost, not what you guessed it would.
Know which jobs pay
After a few jobs, you'll see which kinds of framing pay best for your crew. Decks or additions. New builds or remodels. One GC or another. That's how you decide which work to chase next season.

Built by a contractor
Banay OS was built by Dominic, a general contractor who got tired of not knowing what each job cost him or made him, and of all the paperwork that comes with it. It's now opening to framers and other trades across the US.

FAQ
Is Banay OS for framing subs or for GCs?
Both. It's built for small residential contractors, including framing crews that work as subs.
Can my crew clock in on different sites in the same week?
Yes. Crew clock in from their phone, and hours show by week, tied to each job.
Does Banay OS show overtime?
Yes. Weekly overtime past 40 hours (federal rule). Your state may have other rules. It isn't payroll or legal advice.
Does it track my crew's location?
Mileage is off until the owner turns it on, and each driver sees and accepts a notice first. After that, Banay OS records drives only while you're clocked in and inside work hours your company sets. Nothing is recorded when you're clocked out or outside those hours. Location is recorded only while you're clocked in. The owner and the office or admin users you choose can see it; crew see only their own. Route points are deleted after 90 days by default (your company can choose 7 to 90 days); trip records stay for your mileage log.
