For the trades
Run the remodel. Banay OS™ keeps the job numbers.
A kitchen runs six weeks. A bath runs three. An addition runs all season. In between, change orders, surprise rot and three supply runs a day.
Remodeling is the trade where job numbers drift the most. Banay OS keeps hours, receipts and materials on the job, so you know where each remodel stands.
Built inside a working remodeling company
Banay OS was built by Dominic, a general contractor who got tired of not knowing what each job cost him or made him, and of all the paperwork that comes with it. Kitchens, baths, additions and rehabs. He built it because he wanted to know which jobs made money while they were still open, not a year later.
Now it's opening to remodelers across the US.
Where remodels go sideways
Hidden conditions
Open a wall and the plan changes. New materials, more hours, sometimes a new sub. If those costs don't land on the job right away, the job looks better than it is.
Many trips, many receipts
Remodels eat small purchases. Fittings, fasteners, a forgotten piece of trim. Each receipt is small. Together they can be the difference on a job.
Crews split across jobs
A carpenter might spend the morning on a bath and the afternoon on a deck. Hours need to land on the right job.
How Banay OS helps remodelers
Hours by job
Crew clock in from their phone and hours show by week, tied to each job. The hours land on the remodel they were worked on.
Receipts filed to the job
Snap a receipt and it's filed to the job. That rot repair gets its costs on the right remodel.
A P&L for every remodel
Live, automated P&L for every job.* Hours, receipts and materials roll into each job's P&L. Check a kitchen halfway through and see where it stands.
Mileage
Mileage is off until the owner turns it on, and each driver sees and accepts a notice first. After that, Banay OS records drives only while you're clocked in and inside work hours your company sets. Nothing is recorded when you're clocked out or outside those hours. Location is recorded only while you're clocked in. The owner and the office or admin users you choose can see it; crew see only their own. Route points are deleted after 90 days by default (your company can choose 7 to 90 days); trip records stay for your mileage log.
Three languages for the crew
The crew app comes in English, Brazilian Portuguese and Mexican Spanish. Each person picks their own.
Change orders show up in the numbers
When the scope grows, the costs grow with it. Extra hours and extra receipts land on the job as they happen. You don't have to wait for the end of the job to see what the change did to it.
Know your margin on each kind of job
After a few jobs, patterns show up. Maybe baths pay better than kitchens. Maybe one kind of rehab always runs long. Job-level numbers let you price the next one with your own history.
