For the trades

Painting is a labor business. Know where the hours go.

On most paint jobs, labor is the number that decides the job. Prep runs long. A second coat turns into a third. A crew of three becomes a crew of four to hit a date.

Banay OS™ ties every hour to the job, files every paint receipt to the job and gives each job its own P&L. So you see which jobs pay before the next one starts.

Where painting job numbers drift

Prep eats the hours

Scraping, sanding, patching and masking take longer than anyone bids. If hours aren't tied to the job, you never see how long prep really took.

Many small supply runs

Paint, primer, caulk, tape, rollers. Painters hit the store often. Small receipts add up on every job.

Crews moving between jobs

Painters often run interior work on rain days and exterior work when it clears. Hours need to follow the crew to the right job.

How Banay OS helps painters

Hours by job

Crew clock in from their phone and hours show by week, tied to each job. You see how many hours a job really took.

Receipts filed to the job

Snap a receipt and it's filed to the job. Each gallon lands on the right house.

A P&L for every job

Live, automated P&L for every job.* Hours, receipts and materials roll into each job's P&L. Look at it mid-job and adjust before it's too late.

Mileage

Mileage is off until the owner turns it on, and each driver sees and accepts a notice first. After that, Banay OS records drives only while you're clocked in and inside work hours your company sets. Nothing is recorded when you're clocked out or outside those hours. Location is recorded only while you're clocked in. The owner and the office or admin users you choose can see it; crew see only their own. Route points are deleted after 90 days by default (your company can choose 7 to 90 days); trip records stay for your mileage log.

Three languages

The crew app comes in English, Brazilian Portuguese and Mexican Spanish. Each painter picks their own.

Keep the crew in the loop

Painting crews often include helpers who change from season to season. Banay OS keeps it simple for them. They clock in from their phone, in their own language, and pick the job they're on. You don't need to train anyone on a timesheet.

Bid the next job from real hours

After a season of job-level numbers, you'll know your own rates. How long a typical room takes your crew. How much prep a hundred-year-old house really needs. Bids get easier when they're based on your own jobs.

Built by a contractor

Banay OS was built by Dominic, a general contractor who got tired of not knowing what each job cost him or made him, and of all the paperwork that comes with it. It's now opening to painters and other trades across the US.
