For the trades
Roofing moves fast. Keep the numbers on the roof they belong to.
Roofing runs on weather, crew size and material drops. A tear-off can go from a full crew to a rain day by lunch. Then the job shifts, and the next one shifts with it.
Banay OS™ keeps each roof's hours, receipts and materials on that job. When a week gets scrambled, the numbers don't.
Where roofing job numbers drift
Big crews, changing days
A roofing day can start early, stop for rain and pick up again tomorrow. Hours written down later get fuzzy. Fuzzy hours make fuzzy job costs.
Material-heavy jobs
Shingles, underlayment, flashing, drip edge, dumpsters. Materials are a big share of a roof. Missed receipts make a job look better than it was.
Several jobs at once
A crew might finish one roof in the morning and start the next by afternoon. Hours and costs need to land on the right address.
How Banay OS helps roofers
Crew clock in from their phone
Each roofer clocks in from their phone. Hours show by week, tied to each job. You see who was on which roof without collecting paper.
Receipts filed to the job
Snap a receipt and it's filed to the job. The extra bundle, the nails, the dump fee all land where they belong.
A P&L for every roof
Live, automated P&L for every job.* Hours, receipts and materials roll into each job's P&L. Check a roof while it's open, then again when it's done.
Mileage
Mileage is off until the owner turns it on, and each driver sees and accepts a notice first. After that, Banay OS records drives only while you're clocked in and inside work hours your company sets. Nothing is recorded when you're clocked out or outside those hours. Location is recorded only while you're clocked in. The owner and the office or admin users you choose can see it; crew see only their own. Route points are deleted after 90 days by default (your company can choose 7 to 90 days); trip records stay for your mileage log.
Three languages
The crew app comes in English, Brazilian Portuguese and Mexican Spanish. Each person picks their own.
Rain days without the paperwork mess
When weather stops a job halfway, the hours already worked stay on that job. When the crew comes back, they clock in to the same job. The roof's numbers pick up where they left off, so a two-day job that took four still shows its full cost.
Price the next roof with your own numbers
Once you have job-level numbers on a few roofs, you can compare them. Which roof types ran over on labor? Which ones ran long because of material runs? Your next bid starts from your own history instead of a guess.

Built by a contractor
Banay OS was built by Dominic, a general contractor who got tired of not knowing what each job cost him or made him, and of all the paperwork that comes with it. It's now opening to roofers and other trades across the US.
